How to set up and care for it

1. Fit the rubber grommet, seat the stem in the glass base and fill the base with cold water until roughly 2–3 cm of the stem sits below the surface.
2. Push the hose into the hose port and check the seal — cover the bowl port and draw; the hookah should hold air.
3. Pack the clay bowl loosely with shisha molasses flavours, cover with perforated hookah aluminium foil, then add lit shisha charcoal — ZAEEM coconut shell charcoal burns clean and long in this bowl.
4. Purge through the brass valve every few minutes to clear stale smoke.
5. Care: rinse the base and stem with warm water after every session and dry upright. The red cloth hose is not washable — blow it clear and hang it to air, never rinse it. A spare Khalil Mamoon original clay bowl is worth keeping so one can dry while the other is in use.

Is this a complete hookah, or do I need to buy more?

Can I wash the red cloth hose?
No. Traditional cloth-wound hoses have an inner metal coil and must stay dry — water rusts the coil and ruins the draw.
